In line with the Prime Minister’s call for National Days of Prayer and Fasting, Belize Coast Guard Commandant Captain Elton Bennett calls for our prayers to be concentrated at 1155 hours (11:55 AM ) this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday followed by midday fasting each day.
Calling on all Coast Guard men, women and our families to stop at 1155 hours for five minutes and pray for the healing of our nation. Our prayers go out to the family that has lost their loved one and for the families that are directly affected by the Covid – 19 virus.
We pray for our leaders in the Oversight Committee and the Task Force that God will provide the direction needed to chart the course to victory over the Covid – 19 virus. We pray for every Coast Guard man and woman on duty that God will protect them in performing this national essential task. We pray for our servicemen that are overseas in the United States of America, Mexico, Taiwan, Jamaica, and Guyana that God will send an angel with a shield to protect them.
Let the power of our prayers be united, concentrated and intertwined for the healing of the nation.
“ If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land” 2 Chronicles 7:14
