Its an honour to present my fourth State of the Coast Guard address. This is the platform that I use to provide a report on our accomplishments over the past year. The States of the Coast Guard address coincides with our 18th year anniversary, a significant milestone in our organization. As the Commandant of the Coast Guard I remain accountable to my leaders at the Ministry of National Defence and Border Security, I remain accountable to our stakeholders and partners that have made valuable contributions to the success of this organization, I remain accountable to the Belizean public, and very importantly I remain accountable to those under my command, that I will continue to steer this ship in the right direction. With all hands on deck we have accomplished so much over the past year. At this point last year we were wrapping up our post hurricane Lisa disaster relief operations in Belize City, Crooked Tree, and River valley area.
