Belize Annual Military Parade Ministry Of National Security

Today the Ministry of National Security held its third annual security forces parade in Belmopan. Today’s event in Belmopan was very well disciplined and a smart turnout for our security forces. The event brought out a good public turnout in the nation’s capital on a Friday evening.

And it provided a high profile showcase for the man who is seeking leadership of the U.D.P, Hon. John Saldivar. He’s been flexing his political muscle recently and said today was a chance for the forces to showcase themselves:

Hon. John Saldivar, Minister of National Security

“Very proud of what we have established within our security forces, our Police Department, Belize Coast Guard and the Belize Defence Force and very happy to be able to display this to our nation, so that they would know the state of readiness that we have in our forces in to defend Belize and enforce the laws.”

Reporter
“This is not the full muscles being displayed out here today?”

Hon. John Saldivar

“Certainly not, but a portion of it so that people can get an idea of what we have in our security forces.”
